Wheels for the World Donations Accepted at Clarke
The Clarke University Organization of Student Physical Therapists (COSPT) will be collecting used or broken wheelchairs and other assistive devices on Saturday, March 25, from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Catherine Byrne Hall on Clarke’s campus.
COSPT is collecting any form of assistive devices such as canes, walkers, wheelchairs and even assistive toilet seats. The gift of wheelchairs or other assistive devices is capable of transforming the life of a person with a disability.
Clarke’s physical therapy students have made it their mission to collect as many unwanted or broken assistive items as possible. Wheels for the World offers an alternative option to a landfill for those looking to dispose of unwanted or broken items while still making a positive impact on the lives of those less fortunate.
