Clarkies to Celebrate Fourth Annual Clarke Day

Clarke University’s fourth annual Clarke Day will take place on Thursday, Sept. 28. This is a day for alumni, students, faculty, staff, and friends to share their Clarke Pride on campus, as well as through social media. All are invited to post photos and share Clarke stories on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Snapchat using the hashtag #ClarkeDay. This will be the most ambitious day of giving in Clarke’s history of the event. The donor participation goal this year is 750 donors in a 24-hour time period. If Clarke reaches the goal of 750 donors, the University will receive a $50,000 challenge grant sponsored by the Clarke University Board of Trustees.

“I could not be more proud to call myself a ‘Clarkie,’” says Kyle Majerus, a senior at Clarke University. “This university has allowed me to flourish academically, socially, and professionally. I cannot wait to express my love for this place on Clarke Day.”

Clarke alumni and friends are invited to join the celebration by wearing Clarke blue and gold on September 28. The event begins at midnight on September 28.
