Clarke to Host Wellness Fair

Clarke University will host “Mind, Body and Spirit,” a wellness fair on Thursday, April 18 from 11:30-1:30 p.m. in the Student Activity Center on the Clarke campus. Vendors at the wellness fair include Tri State Occupational Health, Birthright, Riverview, Dubuque Dental Hygienists, Capri College Massage Therapy, Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Eastern Iowa, Finley Hospital, Vision Health, Sam’s Club Pharmacy and Optical Departments, Tri State Vein Center, Hillcrest Family Services, Clarity Clinic, Body and Soul, Substance Abuse Services Center, DJK Associates, Stroke Detection Plus Screening, Hy-Vee Dietician Amber Jaeger, Mercy Turning Point, Wellness On Davis, Overeaters Anonymous, Dubuque County Right to Life, 3 Willows Wellness, Dubuque YWCA, Iowa State Extension Office, Crescent Community Health Center and Bio Life Plasma Center.This event is sponsored by Clarke University Health Services and the Clarke Wellness Committee. Also helping to promote a balanced lifestyle at the wellness fair will be Clarke athletic training, nursing and physical therapy students. The fair is open to the public and several door prizes, including a gift certificate to Best Buy, will be given.
