Currently, we have students from Austria, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Germany, Ghana, Honduras, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Jamaica, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, Panama, Russia, South Africa, Spain, St. Lucia, Sweden, United Kingdom, Venezuela, and Vietnam.

Application Process for First-Year International Students

To ensure timely processing, we recommend that international students submit their application for admission at least three months prior to the start of the semester in which they plan to enroll—unless you are transferring from another institution within the U.S.

  1. Submit Your Application

Complete and submit the online application for admission.

  1. Provide Academic Records

Submit an official copy of your high school transcript to Clarke University.

  • First-year students may need to have their transcripts evaluated through InCred for NAIA eligibility.
  • Select the Basic Evaluation option ($95 USD).
  1. SubmitEnglish Language Proficiency Scores (if applicable)

One of the following official scores is required:

  • TOEFL:
  • 550 (PBT) or
  • 75 (IBT)
  • Clarke’s TOEFL code: 6099
  • Duolingo: Minimum score of 105
  • IELTS: Minimum score of 6.0
  1. Pay the International Admission Processing Fee

Submit the non-refundable $25 International Admission Processing Fee to move your application forward for an admission decision.

  • If you enroll at Clarke University, this fee will be credited to your student account.

Admission Standards for First-Year International Students

Clarke University gives admissions preference to applicants with a cumulative and core GPA of 2.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale.

We are a test-optional institution. This means you are not required to submit SAT or ACT scores to be considered for admission. Applicants have the choice to include standardized test scores if they feel the scores enhance their overall academic profile.

At Clarke, we believe every student should present the most complete and accurate picture of their academic potential.

  • If you believe your test scores strengthen your application, feel free to include them.
  • If you feel your high school academic record alone best represents your abilities, you may choose not to submit test scores—without any disadvantage in the admission process.
