Washington Post’s Henneberger to Speak at Clarke
Melinda Henneberger, a writer for the Washington Post, will present Clarke University’s Schemmel Endowed Lecture in Theology on Wednesday, April 2, at 7 p.m. in Jansen Music Hall.
Henneberger will speak on the topic “Women and the Church.” The event is free and open to the public.
Henneberger was the founder and editor-in-chief of Politics Daily at AOL and spent 10 years as a reporter for the New York Times, in the paper’s Washington and Rome bureaus. She has also worked for the Dallas Morning News and New York Newsday, and is an alumna of the University of Notre Dame, the Catholic University of Louvain in Belgium, and the post-graduate volunteer program Holy Cross Associates.
