Clarke University Golf Classic

The Clarke University Golf Classic has been positively impacting the university community for nearly four decades.
What began as a fundraising event to help build the Robert and Ruth Kehl Center eventually grew into an effort to build the Clarke Classic Scholarship Endowment Fund for local students. Today, the endowment fund is self-sustaining and the annual Clarke Classic Scholarship Program will exist into perpetuity.
Our event has come full circle to once again support Clarke Athletics. With nearly 80% of our traditional undergraduate students being collegiate athletes. This year’s Golf Classic proceeds will enhance technology and facilities within the Athletics Department, helping ensure that Clarke student-athletes continue to thrive.
The 37th annual Clarke University Golf Classic is going to be our biggest yet, offering two fantastic golf courses to choose from: the Dubuque Golf & Country Club and The General at Eagle Ridge Resort & Spa in Galena.
The event will kick off with a shotgun start with a light lunch provided. Afterward, we’ll gather back at Clarke University for cocktails, a gourmet steak dinner, auction, and brief program announcing the tournament results.
EVENT ITINERARY:
- 9:30 a.m. – Player Registration and Lunch at The General at Eagle Ridge
- 10:00 a.m. – Player Registration and Lunch at Dubuque Golf & Country Club
- 10:30 a.m. – Shotgun Start at The General at Eagle Ridge
- 11:00 a.m. – Shotgun Start at Dubuque Golf & Country Club
- Following Golf – Cocktails, Dinner, Program, and Auction in Clarke University’s Wahlert Atrium
