Winter Safety Information

With wind chills reaching as low as -40, frostbite can occur within 10 minutes. During the winter weather advisory, stay indoors whenever possible. Be sure to keep your cellphone charged and have access to blankets, water, and other necessities.

If you must go out, dress in layers: wear fabrics that retain heat, use insulation layers to trap air, and choose outer layers that are wind and water-resistant. Stay dry and avoid excessive sweating to maintain body heat.

Stay indoors, stay warm, and stay safe, Clarkies!

I give back to the Clarke Community because many people poured into my future while I was a student there. They cared about my success and wanted to see me thrive in and out of the classroom.

To all the individuals, families, and businesses who have donated to Clarke University over the years, I thank you. Clarke has served as a second home to me for the past 4 years, and I wouldn’t have wished my college experience to go any other way. Much of this had to do with your generous donations to campus, clubs, the athletic teams, and academics.
