Health and Wellness Center

The primary mission of the Wellness Center will be to enhance the students’ educational experiences by promoting wellness of mind-body-spirit and empowering students to make informed and intentional choices regarding their health and well-being. The Wellness Center will bring together Counseling Services, Health Services, and Campus Ministry to create a culture of wellness by offering programming for the development of the mind-body-spirit connection.

Spiritual Life Facilities

Spiritual life is a central part of campus life for many of our students. We offer a 24/7 prayer/meditation space open for all students to use for quiet time or relaxation. The nearby Foley Lounge acts as a central hub for Campus Ministry activities as well as a place for students to relax, play games, or hold meetings with their campus organizations. The Upper Room of Clarke’s Sacred Heart Chapel also serves as a peaceful place to study, rest, pray, or meditate.

Counseling Center Facilities

Our counseling staff members provide a safe and confidential environment to help students through issues that may interfere with their well-being and academic performance. Students may choose individual or group counseling sessions based on their needs. The Self Center, containing massage chairs, light therapy, and adult coloring, offers a way for students to practice self-care and relieve stress.

Health Services Facility

The Wellness Center places an emphasis on living a healthy lifestyle. A large component of this is physical health. The Yoga/Pilates Exercise Room gives students, staff, and faculty a space to interconnect mind, body, and spirit. Our Cardio Room, complete with ellipticals, rowing machines, exercise bikes, and treadmills, allows Clarke’s campus community to achieve increased cardiovascular health.
