Instrumental Ensembles

Each year they participate in the Great River Wind Symphony, and members are nominated and selected to perform with the Iowa Collegiate Honor Band.

BRASS ENSEMBLE performs throughout the Dubuque region and by invitation at regional conferences of the Society of Composers. This ensemble performs works ranging in style from classical to contemporary and new works.

This ensemble has participated in the Elmhurst Jazz Festival.

WOODWIND ENSEMBLE performs classical, contemporary and jazz works exploring the depth of woodwind literature.

NEW MUSIC ENSEMBLE plays compositions written by Clarke’s student composers. All instruments are welcome to participate. It is a unique opportunity to focus upon group improvisation, too.
