Classes Cancelled 12/1

To allow students additional time to travel back to campus after the Thanksgiving holiday and the weekend’s inclement weather, the university is cancelling all classes on Monday, Dec. 1.

At this time, the university will remain open with normal operations. As always, university leaders encourage employees and students to put safety first when deciding to travel to campus during the winter months. If employees cannot make it to campus on Monday, they need to coordinate with their supervisor to arrange to work remotely or take leave.

Snow Emergency Parking in the City of Dubuque is being enforced. Those parking on Clarke Drive should move their vehicle to a parking lot to allow city crews to remove snow and avoid receiving a ticket or being towed.

Governance Participation

Active Involvement

Nursing students are encouraged to become involved in governance of the department. A member of each cohort will be invited to sit on the Nursing Advisory Board. Students in the graduate nursing program are invited to submit questions, opinion, and suggestions about department governance items (issues related to policies and procedures) via email to the instructor, the academic advisor, the Director of Graduate Nursing Studies, or the Nursing Department chairperson. This communication is not intended to serve as a means for individual academic advising. All comments/information received will be channeled to the appropriate committee. Responses/outcomes relative to graduate programs will be posted during the third week of each month by the Director of Graduate Nursing Studies.
