Support Sustainability Efforts at Clarke and throughout Dubuque
At Clarke University, we see responsible stewardship of the earth and its resources as an integral part of our core values of education, charity, justice, and freedom, as well as our Catholic identity. Now you can play an important role in this stewardship by joining the Clarke Sustainability Committee.
As a committee member, you can:
- Seek out and implement sustainable habits for our institution
- Contribute ideas for changes in our community
- Bring our campus sustainability plan to life!
Plus, you can connect with other Dubuque organizations like the Dubuque Colleges Sustainability Coalition and Sustainable Dubuque. Students may also take part in events hosted in our area to learn more about environmental justice, such as the “International Day of Peace” on September 21, or the “Care for our Common Home Conference” October 7-9. While the Day of Peace event is free, the conference is $25 and the Clarke Sustainability Committee has funds available for student committee members who would like to attend.
