Dr. Dunker to Present Faculty Recital

Clarke University Professor of Music Amy Dunker will present the Composition and Trumpet Faculty Recital at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 20, in Jansen Music Hall on the Clarke campus. Admission is free.
Composer-trumpeter-educator Amy Dunker’s music resists easy categorization. From avant-garde improvisation to minimalistic sound sculptures to neo-romantic echoes, Dunker delves deeply into the nature of human experience.
The concert will also feature the Marquette Catholic High School Choir of Bellevue, Iowa, Jill Sieverding conductor, as well as Nathan Schatz on trumpet.
