Clarke’s Graduate and Adult Programs Create Leaders

Our graduate and adult studies programs turn interests into influence. Across seven fully developed graduate and adult programs, we blend theory and training with an emphasis on practice. Our programs will explore and deepen your passion, and help you apply your knowledge and gain adaptable, flexible skills that prepare you for leadership. Clarke University offers master’s degrees in social work, business administration, organizational leadership and education. We also offer doctoral degrees in nursing and physical therapy.

We’ve incorporated both online and hybrid offerings into many of our programs to accommodate work and home life schedules while maintaining high quality networking and collaboration between students and faculty.”

Master of Arts in Education

You are a leader in your classroom, now be an agent of change and leadership in your building and community with our MAE in Instructional Leadership. Continue as reflective practitioners and be committed to lifelong learning through a curriculum designed for teachers of K-12 students. Experience personal instruction through our convenient 100% online format taught by faculty who are committed to your success and making your education intimate and rewarding. Start dates are in January, June, and August of 2018.

Master of Business Administration

Individuals who want to develop their leadership skills, improve productivity and grow profits – all while contributing to the “common good” – can enroll in an MBA program like no other. Choose from one of three customized tracks: Managerial Professional, Human Resources Professional, or Project Management Professional. Our program emphasizes problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities. Start dates for the MBA are October of 2017 and January, March, and August of 2018.

Master of Organizational Leadership

Ready to lead change, motivate others, and achieve outstanding results in today’s complex organizations? Our Master of Organizational Leadership (MOL) degree will get you there. Prepare yourself for supervisory positions by becoming an innovative, high-performing, adaptive leader with a solid understanding of how to effectively manage and motivate teams. Learn how to affect change in today’s ever-changing global environment and manage business units and cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals and objectives. Start dates for the MOL are October of 2017 and January, March, and August of 2018.

Master of Social Work

The demand for trained social workers will increase by 25% through 2020 and the need for mental health and medical workers is even greater. Clarke University is the first private college in Iowa to develop high-quality pathways for a Master of Social Work Degree. Our program prepares you for a career through academically rigorous coursework and rich field experiences in a wide variety of settings. The MSW offers flexibility in scheduling to accommodate your work and home life needs. Enter either our full-time One-Year Program Advanced Standing, Part-Time Two-Year Program Advanced Standing, Two-Year Day Program, Three-Year Day Program, or Hybrid Weekend Program. The next start dates for our Advanced Standing Programs are January and August of 2018. Daytime and weekend programs begin in August of 2018.

Doctor of Nursing Practice

Nurses are the largest part of the health care workforce, and the practice of nursing is one of the most diverse as the profession addresses clinical, leadership, public policy, and public health care needs. Clarke offers a nationally recognized DNP program that is designed to serve the needs of the working health care professional seeking post-baccalaureate or post-master’s study. This program offers you the flexibility to continue your education and pursue a doctoral degree while keeping up with the demands of work and home. Concentrations include: Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and Health Leadership and Practice (HLP). Next start date is August 2018.

Doctor of Physical Therapy

Our DPT program is nationally recognized and accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education through 2024. Early in the program, you will acquire hands-on experience with patients through the integrated Clinical Practicum Program. From there, you’ll complete a hands-on internship at a of the top clinics and medical centers in the country. You will experience an incomparable, well-rounded education for students who want to graduate as exceptional physical therapy generalists. The next start date for the DPT is August of 2018.
