The Clarke University Golf Classic has been positively impacting the university community for nearly four decades.
What began as a fundraising event to help build the Robert and Ruth Kehl Center eventually grew into an effort to build the Clarke Classic Scholarship Endowment Fund for local students. Today, the endowment fund is self-sustaining and the annual Clarke Classic Scholarship Program will exist into perpetuity.
Now in its 38th year, the Clarke Classic comes full circle. Proceeds from the 2026 Clarke Golf Classic will support targeted improvements within the Kehl Athletic Center. Funds will help enhance athletic facilities, upgrade equipment, and improve training and competition spaces for student athletes. These updates will strengthen the overall student experience and ensure the center continues to serve as a high quality resource for Clarke’s athletic programs and campus community.
The Clarke Classic endowed scholarship fund will also support five incoming students from the tri state region. Each student will receive a renewable scholarship for up to four years.
The event will kick off with a shotgun start with a light lunch provided. Afterward, we’ll gather back at Clarke University for cocktails, dinner, auction, and brief program announcing the tournament results.
EVENT ITINERARY:
- 9:30 a.m. – Player Registration and Lunch at The General at Eagle Ridge
- 10:00 a.m. – Player Registration and Lunch at Dubuque Golf & Country Club
- 10:30 a.m. – Shotgun Start at The General at Eagle Ridge
- 11:00 a.m. – Shotgun Start at Dubuque Golf & Country Club
- Following Golf – Cocktails, Dinner, Program, and Auction in Clarke University’s Wahlert Atrium
