In the rapidly growing field of sport management, you will learn how sport functions in the entertainment industry and interacts with business and philanthropic entities. Sport management professionals must understand the complexities of this competitive industry and develop strategies for personal and organizational success.

In the U.S. alone, the sport industry ranks sixth among all industries, with annual revenue of more than $250 billion. Pursuing a degree in sport management prepares students for exciting careers in the global sport industry, including athletic management, health and fitness management, event management, as well as marketing, sales, public relations, and other sport-related positions.

Program Details

At Clarke University, you will gain valuable knowledge from a team of experienced business professors. Emphasis on fieldwork experiences outside the traditional class setting provides students with knowledge and skills to transition toward full-time employment. Students are also provided opportunities to participate in annual international trips. Clarke offers Early Access programs in its Master of Business Administration and Master of Organizational Leadership. The Early Access programs offer eligible students the ability to complete 12 hours of graduate credit while in their undergraduate degree program. These credits can be counted as undergraduate electives toward a bachelor’s degree. Also, each year the department leads a 10-15-day trip to a foreign country to study the artistic, cultural, social, and economic aspects of a country. Students and faculty traveled to Italy, Ireland, Switzerland, France, England, and Spain.
