Tell us a bit about your family:

My fiancé Matt and I live in Dubuque with our fur-baby, Sully!

Where did you attend college? What did you study?

I attended The University of Iowa and graduated in 2014. I majored in Communication Studies and received a minor in Human Relations. I also graduated with certificates in Fundraising and Philanthropy Communication and Leadership Studies.

Tell us about your career highlights before coming to Clarke.

Prior to joining the team at Clarke, I served as the Development Manager of March of Dimes in Dubuque. I also have prior experience within higher education as part of the Admissions team at Loras College.

What brought you to Clarke?

Growing up in Dubuque, I’ve always known how important Clarke is to the community and have appreciated Clarke’s rich history. I knew when I joined the team at Clarke, I’d become a part of something bigger. I’m looking forward to familiarizing myself with campus, representing Clarke in our local community, and building relationships with Clarkies across the country.

What do you like to do outside of work?

Outside of work, I spend most of my time with my extended family, working out at Volv. Fitness, and spoiling our dog, Sully. I also love a good Netflix documentary, hike at Swiss Valley, iced chai, and home improvement project.

If you weren’t in the field you’re in now, what other field or career could you see yourself working in and why?

My dream job would be to host a podcast! It seems so fun! I’d love to have the opportunity to interview a variety of guests on an endless number of topics. Hosting a podcast seems to be a great way to learn from others and their life experiences…with no pressure of being on camera!
