Clarke University has provided me the opportunity to serve as the chief student affairs officer for over 20 years. The students are respectful and open to learning from each other. Many face life challenges that they learn to overcome with the support of faculty, staff and their peers. My two favorite and most rewarding days are orientation and graduation.
