  • Professional Background

    Before teaching at the collegiate level, Huntleigh taught choral, instrumental, and general music in Illinois, Virginia, and Delaware public schools. Her conducting mentors, Drs. Lisa A. Billingham, Geoffrey Boers, and Giselle Wyers, and her movement mentors, Colleen Culley and Cadence Whittier have provided years of professional and personal guidance. She is eternally grateful to those formal mentors, as well as the many colleagues and students who have helped to informally mentor her as a conductor-teacher-citizen.
