Teaching Philosophy

I am committed to working with students in a facilitator role. I enjoy working as the “guide on the side” and witnessing discovery and growth among my students. I believe the most powerful learning happens when students are engaged in active learning.

I have been an educator for 20+ years within the K-12 school system. During that time, I have served as a special education teacher, special education consultant, and special education administrator.

Hobbies/Interests
