Music Department Faculty Recital on Jan. 23

The many talents of the Clarke University Music Department faculty will be on display Saturday, Jan. 23, when the Faculty Recital is held at 7:30 p.m. in Jansen Music Hall. Admission is free.

The following performers will be featured: LaDonna Manternach, soprano; SangIn Han, tenor; Sharon Jensen and Jeremy Mims, piano; and Amy Dunker, trumpet.

Manternach will sing sacred works by Mozart, Brahms, Paviour and Stephenson; Dunker will accompany her on “Walk Slowly” by James Stephenson. Han will sing operatic arias by Bizet and Tchaikovsky. Jensen will play “Papillons Op. 2” by Schumann, and Mims and Jensen’s piano duet will feature “Gazebo Dances” by Corigliano.
