Clarke Future Young Professionals Plan Clothing Drive

By Clarke News  |  November 13, 2013

The Clarke University Chapter of Future Young Professionals will conduct a clothing drive from Nov. 18 to Nov. 22.The group is seeking donations of professional clothing. Men’s and women’s suits, shirts, blouses, pants and any accessories are welcome. Items can be dropped off at the Clarke welcome desk from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. You do not need to dry clean your items before you bring them.  Artistic Cleaners will dry clean interview suits for students for free. Leftover items will be donated to local charities. The clothes will be used for the chapter’s Dress for Success event on Feb. 4-5. The event allows Clarke students to shop for free since many students are unable to afford the professional attire to make a good impression in an interview. Last year, more than 130 students came to Dress for Success.Clarke University is a Catholic, liberal arts and sciences university dedicated to preparing students who positively impact their workplace, family and community.
