CEO Network Luncheon Scheduled at Clarke

Students will get the opportunity to listen to the stories and backgrounds of local CEOs in the business community during a CEO Network Luncheon at Clarke University on Friday, Feb. 6.The event, scheduled for 11 a.m. to 12:50 p.m. in Jansen Music Hall, will also provide students with a networking opportunity.The Greater Dubuque Development Corporation (GDDC) is sponsoring the panel and networking luncheon to give students an opportunity to learn more about Dubuque’s top employers, interact with area leaders as they share their personal career paths, and give students advice for future career success.  Workforce needs are among Dubuque’s most significant challenges and the GDDC and local employers are looking to our colleges for assistance. The CEO guests represent employment and internship opportunities for students in many Clarke majors. There is no charge to students, but reservations are required no later than Wednesday, Jan. 28, by emailing careerservices@clarke.edu or terry.kruse@clarke.edu.  Additionally, student attendees are asked to attend both the panel discussion and luncheon.   The CEO panelists are:Lori Thielen – President, East Dubuque Savings BankChad Chandlee – President, Kendall Hunt Publishing Rob McDonald – President, AY McDonald Manufacturing
