Nursing RN to BSN Admission Requirements

Classes begin

Sessions begin every eight weeks: August, October, January, March, and June.

  1. Online RN-BSN application
  2. Official academic transcripts sent from all high school and undergraduate institutions attended
    • Transcript issued to student are not official
    • Faxed and copied transcripts are not official
  3. Photocopy of current nursing license
  4. Two recommendation forms including one relative to academic ability and one relative to professional character
  5. 30 hours of College coursework including
    • Anatomy and Physiology I & II
    • Microbiology
    • Psychology
    • Sociology
    • Chemistry is required to be completed within the first year
    • Statistics is required prior to NURS 322 Research
  6. Official TOEFL score if English is not your first language minimum PBT score of 550 or IBT of 80
  7. Interview with Nursing faculty to be scheduled once all application materials are received

  • Healthcare Provider CPR Certification

Minimum Academic Requirements for Admission

  • Minimum GPA of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale

Prerequisite Courses

  • CHEM 107 General, Organic and Biochemistry with lab
  • BIOL 132 Introduction to Microbiology with lab
  • BIOL 211 Human Anatomy and Physiology I with lab
  • BIOL 212 Human Anatomy and Physiology II with lab
  • MATH 220 Statistics (Pre or co-requirement to NURS 322)
