Archdiocese of Dubuque Professional Learning Series (PLS) for Non-Degree Seeking Students
Students only taking professional development courses offered through the Archdiocese of Dubuque Professional Learning Series (PLS) may apply or register as non-degree-seeking students if they do not wish to pursue a full Master of Arts in Education (MAE) degree.
Note: Please complete this application form if you are a new non-degree-seeking student OR if you have not enrolled at Clarke in the past year. Since this is not a degree-seeking pathway, students will not qualify for financial aid.

Register
Current non-degree Archdiocese of Dubuque PLS students who have been enrolled at Clarke within the past year may register for courses through the Graduate Education Course Registration form.
New non-degree Archdiocese of Dubuque PLS students (or students who have not enrolled at Clarke for over a year) will register on the Non-Degree Application Form.

Applying to the MAE Program
If you would like to apply for Clarke’s Master’s of Arts in Education (MAE) program, please click here for application instructions. You can apply to begin your degree program in the summer, fall or spring, and you will have up to seven years after you first begin the MAE program to complete your degree. You can put the credits you’ve already earned through the PLS program as a non-degree-seeking student toward your MAE degree! For any questions related to applying to the MAE program at Clarke, please contact graduate@clarke.edu.
