In conjunction with the Guster “Campus Consciousness Tour” on Wednesday, May 2, the Clarke College Student Association will host a variety of environmental activities on campus.
From 12:30-2:30 p.m., there will be various booths in front of the College’s Wahlert Atrium, sponsored by Clarke student organizations and others. Anderson-Weber Toyota Lincoln Mercury will feature a hybrid vehicle and there will be a variety of environmental information and product sampling from additional organizations. Admission is free and the public is invited to attend.
At 2:30 p.m., Guster’s Adam Gardner will host a town hall forum in Clarke’s Jansen Music Hall to discuss current environmental issues and how students can make a difference. Again, admission is free and the public is invited to attend. Students bringing two non-perishable food items will have their names entered into a drawing to win a VIP meet-and-greet with the band before the show.
Tickets for the evening concert at 8 p.m. are $20 and can be reserved on-line at www.clarke.edu or in person at the Clarke College Whitlow Bookstore (563-588-6307), Moondog Music and CDs 4 Change.
