Assessment of Student Learning

The mission of Clarke University and the core values of the sponsoring religious community (the BVM's) is the framework of Clarke University assessment. The mission outcomes, "personal and intellectual growth, global awareness and social responsibility, and spiritual values" are measured throughout campus programs. These outcomes define what a Clarke graduate should know, value, and be able to do. Student learning is the heart of the mission of Clarke University. Education engages the whole person through participation in many learning communities. Classroom learning, service learning, athletics, campus ministry, counseling, and career services all collaborate in assessing the development of the whole person.
