ADMISSIONS

 

Crusader Ambassador, 10 positions
Timeframe:  Summer
Hours per week:  5

Purpose of Job:
To provide a predetermined and memorable guided tour of Clarke to prospective students, families, and visitors. 

Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide an accurate and memorable tour of Clarke’s campus. Share and express the value of Clarke to prospective students.

Job Qualifications:

  • Just have studied at Clarke for at least two consecutive semesters, including current semester. 
  • Ability to speak audibly to large groups.
  • Be a positive advocate for Clarke University.
Wage: $7.25/hr.

Notes:  This position involves weekend and evening tours for visit events.

CONFERENCE & EVENTS

 

Event Staff, 8 positions
Timeframe:  Summer
Hours per week:  0-15 hours per week / flexible

Purpose of Job:
To assist Conference & Events with service of events. 

Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of duties depending on the event. Possible duties include: wait staff, dish staff, table setting, stuffing pillows, and getting overnight rooms ready for summer camps.

Job Qualifications:
Customer friendly, willingness to work hard, able to follow directions, able to lift up to 40 lbs. and push, pull, and lift repetitively. 

Wage:  $7.25/hr.

REGISTRAR

Office Assistant II, 1 position
Timeframe:  Summer
Hours per week:  6

Purpose of Job:
Assist with daily tasks, as well as data entry related to transfer course equivalencies.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Assist with daily tasks, as well as data entry related to transfer course equivalencies.
The office assistant position will set-up transfer course equates in the Transfer Evaluation System. The student will also assist with office duties such as filing, data entry, phone calls and processing transcript requests.

Job Qualifications:

The office assistant must be able to maintain confidentiality, have attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. Previous data entry experience is preferred.

Wage:  $7.25/hr.
