ADMISSIONS

Records Coordinator Intern, 1 position
Timeframe:  Summer
Hours per week:  20

Purpose of Job:
Assist the Admissions Records Coordinator with very detailed data, records, and mailing tasks.  This position also requires the student to be trained as a tour guide.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Enter freshmen applications, information requests and transcripts into the database.  Prepare mailings, files, and information packets. Give tours to families on an as needed basis. There are other duties as assigned. 

Job Qualifications:
The student must be very detailed, efficient, and reliable.  They must be able to learn and memorize process steps and data entry steps.  The student must also be personable and have strong costumer service skills.  

Wage:  $8.00/hr.

Crusader Ambassador, 10 positions
Timeframe:  Summer
Hours per week:  5

Purpose of Job:
To provide a predetermined and memorable guided tour of Clarke to prospective students, families, and visitors. 

Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide an accurate and memorable tour of Clarke’s campus. Share and express the value of Clarke to prospective students.

Job Qualifications:

  • Just have studied at Clarke for at least two consecutive semesters, including current semester. 
  • Ability to speak audibly to large groups.
  • Be a positive advocate for Clarke University.
Wage: $7.25/hr.

Notes:  This position involves weekend and evening tours for visit events.

Visit Coordinator Intern, 1 position

Purpose of Job:  
Assist the Visit Coordinator with very detailed data, records, and mailing tasks.  This position also requires the student to be trained as a tour guide.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Enter visit information and all visit day preparation. Prepare mailings, files, and information packets. Give tours to families on an as needed basis. There are other duties as assigned.

Wage: $8.00/hr.

CONFERENCE & EVENTS

Summer Academy Assistant, 1 position
Timeframe:  Summer
Hours per week:  15

Purpose of Job:
To assist the Event Department with various camps and academies this summer.

Duties & Responsibilities:
This position helps check-in and check-out camps, take phone calls from parents, organizes binders for each of the camps, follow up with surveys after the end of camps, and other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:
Organized, professional, good with both kids and parents, friendly, and reliable.

Wage: $8.25/hr.

Notes:  This position would be for 1 hour every weekday throughout the month of April until the end of spring semester.  Starting May 11th, this position is guaranteed a minimum of 15 hours a week.  The position ends July 17th.
