MSN Nurse Educator
Master of Science in Nursing—Nurse Educator Governance Participation
Nursing students are encouraged to become involved in governance of the department through participation in department committee work and attendance at department meetings. Since graduate students are not able to attend these meetings, alternative communication venues are provided. All students in the graduate nursing program are invited to submit questions, opinion and suggestions about department governance items (issues related to policies and procedures) via e-mail to the instructor, the academic adviser, the Director of Graduate Nursing Studies or the Nursing Department chairperson. This communication is not intended to serve as a means for individual academic advising. All comments and information received will be channeled to the appropriate committee. Responses and outcomes relative to graduate programs will be posted during the third week of each month by the Director of Graduate Nursing Studies.
