Jan. 28, 2014: The Greater Dubuque Development Corporation is sponsoring a panel and networking luncheon on Friday, Feb. 7, from 11 a.m. to 12:50 p.m. in Jansen Music Hall on the Clarke University campus.
The Clarke University CEO Network Luncheon is designed to allow students the opportunity to listen to the stories and backgrounds of local CEOs in the business community and to provide a networking opportunity with local CEOs and community leaders.
Students will have an opportunity to learn more about Dubuque’s top employers, interact with area leaders as they share their personal career paths, and give students advice for future career success.
The CEO panelists are Karel Czandema, president and CEO of Flexsteel Industries Inc., John Tallent, CEO at Medical Associates Clinics and Health Plans, and John Gronen, president of Gronen Properties and Restoration.
Workforce needs are among Dubuque’s most significant challenges and the GDDC and local employers are looking to local colleges for assistance. The CEO guests represent employment and internship opportunities for students in many Clarke majors.
While there is no charge to students, reservations are required no later than Friday, Jan. 31, by emailing email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org. Additionally, student attendees are asked to attend both the panel discussion and luncheon.
