Psychology Department

The field of psychology involves the evaluation, prediction and change of human behavior. The psychology program at Clarke University is designed to provide students with a solid foundation for a professional career in this exciting field. To that end, professional development is a primary focus both for students and faculty. Psychology coursework is designed to prepare students to meet the practical aspects required for a career in psychology. Faculty members remain abreast of advances in psychology and frequently reassess and revise the course of study to more accurately reflect the current state of the field. By providing a context for exploring themselves, others and their place in the world, Clarke’s psychology program enables students to gain an understanding of the human experience as a lifelong journey.
