A November Recognition Social will be held for students completing degrees in the fall semester on Wednesday, November 28th at 5:30 p.m. in the Wahlert Atrium. Sr. Joanne Burrows, SC, President will extend a welcome followed by acknowledgement of each candidate by their respective department chair. Your family and/or friends are invited to attend. Cookies, punch and light hors devours will be served and program will conclude by 6:30 p.m. Reservations are required; please respond to Carrie Kirk at 588.6406 or carrie.kirk@clarke.edu by November 14th.
A Jostens representative will be available to December candidates on November 28, 2012 from 1 p.m. – 5:15 p.m. in the Campus Store. The representative will assist with cap and gown order, invitations, diploma frames, rings, etc. Your cap/gown fee is your graduation fee through student accounts. All students pay the fee regardless of participation.
Those who are unable to visit with Jostens on November 28 are encouraged to attend the Grad Finale on Thursday, March 14, 2013 between 11 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Clarke University has one official commencement ceremony and is celebrated on Saturday, May 11, 2013. Students completing degrees in December 2012 will be honored along with the students completing degrees in spring and summer. The Baccalaureate Ceremony will be held in the Robert and Ruth Kehl Center at 10 a.m. and the Commencement Ceremony will be held in the Robert and Ruth Kehl Center at 2 p.m. Students are encouraged to participate in both ceremonies. Lunch will be available in the student dining room between ceremonies for students, guests and families.
