It depends on the day! I love to try new things--new activities and restaurants (some of my new adventures are kayaking and Indian food)--and consequently have a bucket list a mile long. I enjoy traveling, especially to different countries, listening to music and dancing. However, some days all I want is a good book and a pot (yes, a whole pot) of coffee for company.
What to expect at Clarke:
Expect the unexpected! Clarke is a fun, close-knit community that will allow you to succeed and grow in ways you can't begin to imagine. The people you meet and the interactions you have within this community will allow you to make an impact in any way you choose, and you will have the best time doing it!
What is your territory:
I work with students from all of Wisconsin and the Northwest suburbs of Chicago (zip codes starting in 600-603.)
Favorite part of Dubuque:
My favorite place in Dubuque is at the top of the Fenelon Place Elevator. You can ride to the top of the bluff from downtown in a cable car originally built in 1882 by a banker, J.K. Graves, wanted to get home for lunch in two minutes rather than over an hour. At the top, you can see three states- Iowa, Wisconsin and Illinois. The view is beautiful!
What you might find at my desk:
On my desk you will find pictures of my family and friends, funny cards I've been sent and a colorful calendar to keep me organized. Also, several inspirational quotes and images, lots of Clarke merchandise (of course!), and my favorite most accurate fortune cookie to date: "You will continue to take chances and be glad you did. "
