Clarke University engages in multiple levels of assessment activities. New faculty members are provided with an overview and direction on the institution’s assessment processes and procedures prior to their first semester at the university. Faculty and student life personnel engage in coordinated study, review, and analysis of assessment of student learning at fall and spring assessment days. Students participate in assessment events beyond the classroom through portfolio reviews, senior performances, recitals and arts presentations, student research conference, and many other formal, public presentations in which their learning is assessed.
