Through a number of grant programs, the Clarke University Nursing Department is now enhancing efforts to support and improve its growing nursing programs by providing audio/visual materials to meet the needs of a variety of learners.
Through the generous support of an almost $7,000 grant from the Dubuque Racing Association and $2,000 from the Alliant Energy Foundation Community Grant Program, the initiative provided a media library which faculty and students can use in their courses and for review when preparing for Boards.
“Grants from the Dubuque Racing Association have enabled Clarke University to implement important projects,” said the DRA grant application. “This project is vital to maintain excellence in the two nursing programs it will directly impact.”
