Bowers Museum Exhibit and Dessert Reception, October 8, 2011
A Clarke alumni gathering was held in Los Angeles at the Bowers Museum of Cultural Art. Alumni and staff toured the exhibition “Warriors, Tombs and Temples: China’s Enduring Legacy” featuring 40,000 life-size terra cotta warriors. Following the tour, all gathered for a dessert reception and an update from Sr. Joanne Burrows about Clarke. Special thanks to our alumni helpers Susie Gilligan ’72, Celeste Pechous ’94, Bernadette Fee ’97 and to Katherine Lam ’57. Provost Sister Joan Lingen, BVM ’61, Vice President for Institutional Advancement Bill Biebuyck and Development Officer Kari Nickol were also in attendance from Clarke.
