8:15 – 8:30 a.m
Wahlert Atrium 
CORE Registration Check-in
CORE Registration is only for new students who have not participated in the CORE program. Continental breakfast will be available for CORE students in the Atrium.
8:30 – 9:30 a.m.
Atrium Conference Room
CORE Parent Advising Overview
Session for the parents of students taking the writing test.
9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Lobby of assigned Residence Hall
Resident Student Check-in and Move-in
Resident students can check into their residence hall and pick up their room key and building access chip from the Residence Life staff. Resident students will also receive their CONNECT schedule, name tag and Clarke ID card. Unloading zones will be marked along Clarke Drive in front of Mary Josita and Mary Benedict Halls. We ask that you please unload quickly and move your vehicle to one of our parking lots to avoid congestion along Clarke Drive. Members of the Clarke community will be available to help move students in during this time.
11:15 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Student Dining Hall
Pre-paid tickets for parents and guests are required. 
CORE participants and guests do not need to purchase lunch tickets. CORE participants will receive their lunch ticket(s) from Admissions at CORE check-in.
 1 – 2 p.m.
Wahlert Atrium 
Campus Tours Available
Haven’t had a chance to see the campus yet? Student tour guides from the Clarke Admissions Office will offer a campus tour leaving from the Atrium. Families, guests and students are all welcome. Recorridos por el campus están disponibles en español.
1–4 p.m.
Clarke Campus 
Unpack and get settled or use this time to visit campus offices including student accounts, financial aid, security, or the Campus store. 
3 – 4:15 p.m.
Jansen Music Hall
CONNECT for Parents
At Clarke, we welcome parents as our partners in your student’s transition and success.  In this program, you will meet the staff who will play a role in your student’s education and learn about available resources and programs.  Staff from athletics, campus ministry, counseling and career center, dining services, health services, learning center, residence life, safety and security, student engagement and intercultural programs, and the Transitions Coordinator will be participating.
3:30 – 4 p.m.
Kehl Center
Commuter Student Check-in    
First year and transfer commuter students check-in and receive their CONNECT schedule, name tag, and Clarke ID card. 
4:15 – 4:45 p.m.
Wahlert Atrium 
Parent/Faculty CONNECTions    
Parents are invited to get to know and mingle with Clarke faculty members and administrators before attending the campus welcome with students
5–5:30 p.m.
Kehl Center
Welcome to Clarke!
The CONNECT opening session will include a welcome from Clarke President Sr. Joanne Burrows, Vice President for Student Life Kate Zanger and an address from the student body president Mary Zanger. At the conclusion of the program, our parents and family members will receive a “Blessing for Travelers” from the Director of Campus Ministry, Anastasia Nicklaus, as they leave campus..
