8:30 – 9:30 a.m.
Wahlert Atrium/Lingen Technology Center
CORE Writing Test 
Only for students who have not yet completed the writing test.
8:30 – 9:30 a.m.
Atrium Conference Room
CORE Parent Advising Overview
Only for the parents of students taking the writing test at this time.
9 a.m. – Noon
Lobby of assigned Residence Hall
Resident Student Check-in and Move-in
Resident students can check into their residence hall and pick up their room key and building access chip from the Residence Life staff. Resident students will also receive their CONNECT schedule, name tag, and Clarke ID card.

Unloading zone signs will be marked along Clarke Drive in front of the residence halls. We ask that you please unload quickly and move your vehicle to one of our parking lots to avoid congestion along Clarke Drive. Members of the Clarke community will be available to help move students in during this time.
11:15 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Clarke Dining Hall
New students and their families are invited to dine in the Clarke Dining Hall for lunch. Tickets are free, but required. Simply pick up the number of needed lunch tickets at Check-In.
12:45 p.m.
Wahlert Atrium 
CORE Check-In
Students who have not yet participated in CORE (registration) should check-in at this time with Admissions for their afternoon registration and technology sessions.
1–4 p.m.
Clarke Campus
Unpack and get settled or use this time to visit campus offices including student accounts, financial aid, security, or the Campus store. 
1 – 2 p.m.
Wahlert Atrium 
Campus Tours Available
Haven’t had a chance to see the campus yet? Student tour guides from the Clarke Admissions Office will offer a campus tour leaving from the Atrium. Families, guests and students are all welcome. Recorridos por el campus están disponibles en español.
3 – 4:15 p.m.
Jansen Music Hall
CONNECT for Parents
At Clarke, we welcome parents as our partners in your student’s transition and success.  In this program, you will meet the staff who will play a role in your student’s education and learn about available resources and programs.  Staff from athletics, campus ministry, counseling and career center, dining services, health services, learning center, residence life, safety and security, student engagement and intercultural programs, and the Transitions Coordinator will be participating.
3:30 – 4 p.m.
Kehl Center
Commuter Student Check-in    
First year and transfer commuter students check-in and receive their CONNECT schedule, name tag, and Clarke ID card, and then proceed to Student CONNECTions at 4 p.m. 
4:15 – 4:45 p.m.
Wahlert Atrium 
Parent/Faculty CONNECTions    
Parents are invited to get to know and mingle with Clarke faculty members and administrators before attending the campus welcome with students
5–5:30 p.m.
Kehl Center
Welcome to Clarke!
The CONNECT opening session will include a welcome from Clarke President, Sr. Joanne Burrows, Kate Zanger, Vice President for Student Life and an address from the student body president, Shanna Forbes. At the conclusion of the program, our parents and family members will receive a “Blessing for Travelers” Ministry as they leave campus.
