2011-2012 Tuition and Fees - Undergraduate

As a private university, Clarke receives most of its operating revenue from tuition and fees, gifts, grants, room and board. Tuition and fees accounts for approximately 68 percent of the revenue with 18 percent from room and board.

The university reserves the right to increase or decrease fees. Published notice of changes will normally be given in advance.

*Course loads below 12 hours are assessed by the credit hour; a per credit hour charge is added to the basic fee for each credit which exceeds the 18 credit load. The Student Services Fee is not subject to tuition exemption. The Clarke Student Association is allocated $53.75 per semester from the Student Services Fee.

**A limited number of single rooms, doubles as singles, suites, or rooms with private baths are available at an extra charge as noted above.

***The board plan is a semester pass system. The student may choose from a variety of carefully-prepared food items on an unlimited basis. Students may choose from the 19-meal, 14-meal or 10-meal plan at a price of $3,940, of which the 19-meal, 14-meal and 10-meal plans include $100, $175 and $200 of flex money per semester, respectively. Students living in the Apartment Complex may select any of the above meal plans or a mandatory minimum option of a block of 75 meals per semester for a price of $2,300, which includes $300 of flex money per semester.
