The Composition and Electro-Acoustic Music Studio, at Clarke University, is designed as a creative environment for students to explore every aspect of composing music acoustically and with computers. The spirit of the Clarke Composition and Electro-Acoustic Music Studio is one of creative and collaborative interactivity in the creation and performance of new works that often cross disciplinary boundaries.
The lab features 15 flat-screen Dell computers with MIDI piano keyboards and high-powered software applications designed for sampling, audio recording, and editing.
