The Clarke Organization of Student Physical Therapists (COSPT) will host a 5K fun run/walk on Saturday, Oct. 4, to support the Wheels for the World program and the Dubuque United Way. The rain date for the event is Sunday, Oct. 5.
The run starts in front of Clarke’s Robert and Ruth Kehl Center with registration beginning at 8 a.m. and the race starting at 9 a.m. Cost is $15, which includes an event t-shirt. Money raised from the event will support “Wheels for the World,” a national program to collect wheelchairs, walkers, canes or crutches for people with disabilities in developing countries. Funds will also support the Dubuque United Way.
The Clarke Organization of Student Physical Therapists (COSPT) is a student organization designed to serve the students and alumni of the College’s physical therapy program, the area’s only doctoral program in the health sciences.
