You can use search either the Title Keyword or the Title Alphabetical to find out if our library subscribes to a periodical and to find basic information about it.

Tips:

1. Omit an initial article (a, an, the) if it is the first word of a journal title: The journal of Philosophy would be searched as Journal of Philosophy

2. Include articles within a title if you do a Title Alphabetical search. Leave them out if you choose Title Keyword.

Thus the The Journal of Philosophy searches as
Journal of Philosophy in Title Alphabetical, and
Journal Philosophy in Title Keyword.

3. Many periodicals have similar titles. A Title Alphabetical search allows you to browse a title list of all journals, books, etc. owned by the library. If you are not exactly sure what the exact title of a periodical or book is, use this option.

4. Omit all punctuation.
