Full Text

The complete electronic text of an article is called the full text. Some databases, like Academic Search Premier and Masterfile Premier, provide many of their articles in full text. Even if the article is not included, the citation will give you enough information to find it in the library or to search for it in another database. Older articles are less likely to be in full text format.

What if there are pictures or graphs with the article that you want to see?

Scan the full text to see if actual images and graphs are included, or if there is just a summary or their contents. If they are not included, you may need to get the print copy from the library.
