Students will attend six sessions each tailored to give students a head start at college. Following each session, students should know the following information:

- Understand faculty and student roles both in and outside the classroom

Taking Control of Your Life: 101
- How to build a new routine for life in college
- Understand time management and how to develop the skill
- Learn how to balance your life and deal with stress
- Be aware of the Counseling Center and the resources it has to offer
Academic Advising: Guide to a rich liberal arts education
- What the importance of a liberal arts education is
- Gain a better understanding of Clarke's general education program
- What are the roles and responsibilities of students and advisers
Tips from the Pros – (Current Clarke students give advice)
The importance of:

Library and Technology
- Know all of the resources the library has to offer
- How to use the technological resources on campus (i.e. email, MyInfo, Blackboard, Wi-fi, printing, etc.)

- How to make compound interest work for you
- Other money saving tips that all college students should know
