Athletics Hall of Fame Gains Three New Inductees

The Clarke University Athletics Hall of Fame will grow by three next month with the induction of former
Crusader standouts Jennifer Brotzman Calvert (basketball), Elizabeth Constantini (alpine skiing, softball, volleyball) and Scott Schuessler (volleyball).  The induction ceremony will take place at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 12, in Jansen Music Hall as part of the university's 2013 Homecoming Weekend. Clarke Alumni Part of Voices of the Warehouse

  

Three Clarke University alumni have work on exhibit in the 2013 Voices of the Warehouse display.
Ellen Hartmann Henkels, class of 1974; Jason Scott, a 2002 graduate; and Megan Kalmes, class of 2008;
will have work displayed from Sept. 7 to Oct. 4 in the gallery at 10th and Jackson streets in Dubuque.

Clarke Professor Named Most Valuable

  

A Clarke University faculty member has won the 2013 Most Valuable Professors Competition, hosted by Questia. George Towfic, a professor of computer science, was recently named one of three winners who
will have $2,500 scholarships awarded in their name by Questia. He will be part of the team that selects

Clarke's New Athletic Facility is Named

  

Clarke University's new athletic practice facility was named for longtime supporters of the school.
The Jack & Rosemary Gantz Athletic Practice Facility, 1095 Cedar Cross Road, will open in this fall.
Jim Gantz said his parents were always generous in their giving to the community and wanted their

Science Building Update

  

Students, faculty and staff celebrated the official opening of the new Center for Science Inquiry on August 28. Travel with Clarke

  

Top of the mornin' to ya! For alumni interested in traveling with Clarke students, faculty and staff, the Clarke Business and Design departments have converged to create a terrific travel course centered on Irish and
British culture, business and design. The immersion course includes an 11-day trip/tour of Ireland and the British Isles, and London (5/17/14-5/27/14). More information...

  

Clarke Offers New Master's Program

  

The Master of Organizational Leadership degree (MOL) helps develop skills that take employees and employers to the next level. A distinguishing element of Clarke's MOL program is that students gain a competitive edge in the workplace through high-impact workshop-style courses.
