Join us for the 26th Annual Clarke University Golf Classic on Monday, June 2, at the Dubuque Golf and Country Club. Proceeds from the Clarke Classic will provide scholarships for 10 incoming students from the tri-state area. The Clarke University Golf Classic offers alumni and guests 18-holes of golf, a midday meal, a gourmet dinner, hole-in-one prizes, raffle and a live auction.

Niznik changed by trip to South Africa
Lynne Niznik was changed forever in a poor South Africa province, where she witnessed the depths of poverty and heights of a desire to learn. The Clarke University associate professor of history and political science returned to teaching U.S. students last month, one year after she taught life skills at the University of Limpopo's Turfloop campus in the Limpopo province of South Africa. Schemmel Endowed Lecture in Theology to Feature Melinda Henneberger 
Melinda Henneberger, a writer for the Washington Post, will present Clarke University's Schemmel Endowed Lecture in Theology on Wednesday, April 2, at 7 p.m. in Jansen Music Hall. Henneberger will speak on the topic "Women and the Church." The event is free and open to the public. Read more...  


Panel to Discuss Clarke Fire at Mackin-Mailander Alumni Lecture 

A distinguished panel will discuss the 1984 fire at Clarke University and its aftermath at the Mackin-Mailander Alumni Lecture on Tuesday, April 22, at 7 p.m. in Jansen Music Hall. Discussing the fire and Clarke's revival on April 22 will be President Emerita Catherine Dunn, Professor of Art Louise Kames, Professor of Philosophy Norm Freund, and former BVM president Mary Ann Zollmann. Read more...

Clarke University is proud to host summer academies and camps for middle school and high school aged students during the month of June. Our academies and camps will be hosted on the campus of Clarke University and will be directed by Clarke University faculty, staff and alumni.
