The need for nurses prepared at the baccalaureate level has never been greater. Job opportunities abound for entry-level nurses with critical-thinking skills, clinical experience and the ability to function as team players. The nursing program at Clarke University is designed to help students develop and utilize these skills in the context of compassionate nursing care.

Graduates of Clarke's bachelor of science in nursing program are in high demand in health maintenance organizations; hospitals; clinics; sub-acute, long-term and outpatient care facilities; and community health agencies. Indeed, 100 percent of Clarke’s nursing graduates are placed in nursing positions within three months of graduation.

Nursing students are guided by faculty mentors who are excellent teachers with both educational preparation and practical experience in the major areas of nursing.  Among our nursing professors are individuals certified as a medical-surgical nurse, death educator, grief counselor, gerontology nurse and maternal/newborn nursing specialist.
