FOR A BLESSED CHRISTMAS

Staged in the beauty of Clarke’s Sacred Heart Chapel, “For a Blessed Christmas” is a moving portrayal of the Christmas story through an exciting mix of narration and musical performances. This holiday tradition is a favorite in the Dubuque area and features performances by each of Clarke’s vocal and instrumental ensembles.

This year’s concert will feature guest soloist LaDonna Manternach, BVM, DMA, a 1982 Clarke graduate and associate professor of music at Clarke. While usually seen behind the baton conducting the Clarke Cantabile Singers, Manternach is an accomplished lyric soprano who has been a soloist for the Women’s Chorus of San Francisco, the Bay Area Community Chorus, and the Des Moines Concert Singers, among others.
