Clarke gave me the confidence to try new things and to develop and strengthen skills that put me in a position to be successful both as a professional and as a community leader. Clarke instilled the core values of the BVMs and I am living them out in my day to day life.
My professors prepared me to keep up and stay in tune with what the world is looking for in a professional. Clarke also allowed me to participate in so many activities: Spanish tutor, working in the cafeteria, cross-country, and majoring in what I loved – advertising and marketing. The diversity for me was pivotal and it prepared me for the challenges ahead.
I decided to join the Alumni Board because I wanted to show my gratitude and appreciation for the fantastic education I received. I was able to be involved in so many activities during my time at Clarke while still being able to receive a well-rounded education, and it was important for me to continue to support that for other students.
